The Price of War Part 1

04 August, 2006 | Written by Patchay at 1:41 PM in ,

It's Day 23 of the Israel-Lebanon conflict. According to CNN, 642 Lebanese civilians and soldiers have died and 2,303 have been wounded. As of the same time, Israel has reported 68 deaths, including 27 civilians. Now I wonder how many more civilians from both sides will have to pay for this on-going conflict.

When will the war end? Will there be a cease-fire any time soon? When will the Hezbollah militia disarm? When will the Israeli military stop killing innocent people?

Obviously, I can't answer these questions.

your comment denotes almost a purposeful attack on the innocent civilians of Lebanon.

I see you asking whether or not Hezbollah will disarm but you don't seem to note that it's plainly obvious that Israel, is specifically trying to target those who are launching rockets at it while hezbollah is specifically trying to target civilian areas.

I'm just curious why you left that out of your summary. Maybe you really think hezbollah isn't targetting civilians? If so, why? What source are you getting that information? Can you share it?

Do you really think Israel is purposefully targetting civilians? Aside from the militant muslim propaganda outlets where did you get that information? Can you share it?

Personally, I think the attacks on 9/11 are more than plenty of proof who's interested in murdering innocents, nevermind the purposeful statements of Iran (who has been caught red handed manning, arming, and directing the hezbollah) that they are interested in only one thing: Genocide of the Jewish nation.

I'm not saying you're completely one sided as you've obviously stated your sympathies for both sides civilians, and I agree with you on that note completely, but I do not understand where people are getting this notion that "Israel is murdering innocents, and hezbollah need to disarm" when hezbollah are targetting civilians while hiding behind the lebanese civilians, UN observation posts, and then blaming Israel for civilian casualties.

All of this is documented and proven. Why doesn't that impact your view?

maybe Israeli soldiers do not purposefully targetting civillians, but in their operations they really do not mind about innocent civillian casualties.. look what happened to Rachel Corrie..

we are goyims after all.. according to their Talmud we're just pigs not worthy of living..
    You should read these "holy" and "innocent" Talmudic quotations;

‎"The souls of non-Jews come from impure spirits and are called pigs."
    Jalkut Rubeni gadol 12b

"It is the law to kill anyone who denies the Torah. The Christians belong to the denying ones of the Torah."
    Coschen hamischpat 425 Hagah 425. 5

"Every Jew, who spills the blood of the godless (non-Jews), is doing the same as making a sacrifice to God."
    Talmud: Bammidber raba c 21 & Jalkut 772
