Judah 5 Photo Session

29 June, 2007 | Written by Patchay at 1:06 AM in , ,

Someone said to Me: "Patchay always party, party like there's no tomorrow in Australia because no parental control. Party animal-lah you!"

My reply: "I admit that I partaayy. But not always, not too often, in fact only once in a while. I'm doing a balancing act between studies, fun time and my walk with Jesus.

I must say that my Christian Care-Group mates (Judah 5 from Hope) are one of the closest to Me here in Brissy. Not my collegemates, not friends I met in lectures or tutorials (except maybe a few) and certainly not the people I met in social events.

As Semester One draws to a finale, we, Judah 5, took time off to take photos together! So on the faithful afternoon of 3rd June, we all wore white and smiled gracefully to the flashes of cameras.

The loving family of Judah 5

Judah 5A - The "Aunties" haha. You know why?

Judah 5A and our "beloved" CG leader, Puay Siong

Judah 5B - Chicks?

Judah 5B and PS (sometimes I refer his initial to PlayStation)

Judah 5C - The Good Boys ("Kwai Chais")

Ooops... I caught up with some Judah 6 people as well... pretty cool group pcture!

Patchay in ACTION

The girls' ACTION

To satisfy we Asians, just bring us good food! Here's our tea-break meal haha, Quo Vadis pizza - marinated shrimps, garlic, fresh Roma tomatoes and basil.

Australia has four seasons. Someone ignorant told me Hot, Cold, Rainy and Dry? Dumb guy!!! Anyway here's the 4 combo pizza nicknamed "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow."

Yesss this is the beginning of winter here in Brissy (quite late compared to Melbourne). Everyday seems to be a gloomy day. Sometimes it rains and because of that the average temperature may drop below 10°C.

Coming up next: Patchay goes to 2nd Reiji and Klub Kandy parties.

Hendo BBQ Outing

23 June, 2007 | Written by Patchay at 8:04 PM in , ,

This semester's first and also the last outing for Henderson (being the largest wing at Emmanuel College) took place on 26th of May at Guyatt Park.

Holly, 2nd from left, is the wing-leader for Upper Hendo (for ladies).

Hard rock band lover, Wolff (leftmost) enjoying his BBQ-ed patty and sausage. The grilling hot food was perfectly satisfying to Me especially at that point of time - which was the beginning of winter.

This is what I call "Teamwork". We, Hendo Guys and Girls are a bunch of co-operative and hardworking people!

Food and games made us closer together. I personally wished for more wing-outings next semester!

Henderson First Semester 2007

It was indeed an afternoon filled with fun; and an afternoon well spent with friends I lived with under one common roof!

19 June, 2007 | Written by Patchay at 10:17 PM in

Good evening guys...

Obviously you've seen a BIG change in my blog!!! This new template is still unfinished... temporary until I can settle a few more things such as the blog header and fixing the bug in Firefox.

NOTE: Site currently best viewed with Internet Explorer 7.0.

I would appreciate if you guys can provide Me with some feedback of what you think about it, can?

A brand new day at Brisbane. And soon a brand new look for Patchay@Blogspot.

Today I had a bad day. My Law exam was... BAD!!! Oh no...what have I done? I just have to pray for a PASS now. The good side is that I have 2 more papers to go, both on Monday.

After Monday, I'll take a few days off, a very much deserved break after weeks of studies; and maybe do some packing as I'll be leaving college to stay with my friend for this winter season. I'll be back to college when semester two resumes.

The student departure checklist was passed to Me minutes ago, telling Me what should I do when I vacate my room at the end of next week.

Emmanuel's UnbelievaBall continues. The photos below were obtained or contributed from or by other people. Have fun viewing!

This guy's hair is quite cool...

The guys having fun together...

Not bad...

OK...I can explain this. All the guys who were at the dance floor at that time (that stupid Ringo Rock music!) were asked to strip down like above.

So happened I was there too... and those Asian friends and people around Me were cheering for Me to DOWN DOWN. Humiliating Me or what?

Yes I finally did pull down... OMG I know it was my first time doing this in public and in front of so many ladies. But the entire area at that time was quite dark, and mine was nothing special compared to others haha, so who cares?

I like the shining light above...

The end of an unbelievable night. But not the end of UnbelievaBall...

After what was an awesome Ball, we had RECOVERY the next morning. It was a time for us to chillout and recuperate from the exhaustion we had the night before.

We played some ice-breakers, but somehow the "party" feeling was still strong in all our hearts, so we kinda "partied" again ooops...

"Mummy Mummy, I drank too much last night", the boy cried out to himself.

The dresscode for Recovery.. what more can you say?
